Wienerschnitzel Nutrition

Finding the right food to eat at Wienerschnitzel may be a little tougher than the others. Not necessarily because of the food they serve. The main reason is because they don’t list their protein content in their nutrition information. In my opinion, protein content is a very important piece of the puzzle. They also don’t list the total fat content for their food, but they do list the saturated fat. This is unfortunate because as we all know they are famous for their hot dogs. The bad part is that hot dogs are typically high in fat with low to moderate amounts of protein.

Having said that I don’t mean to say that we should never eat a hot dog, but I do think that they should be eaten sparingly. It’s difficult to say without the knowledge of fat and protein content, but a good meal for gaining might be an original deluxe dog, a turkey chili dog, and perhaps a 16 oz lemonade. That would provide 760 calories, 7 grams of saturated fat and 116 grams of carbohydrates. For losing weight, I would stick with on turkey chili dog, and plenty of water.
