Workouts

Thank you for visiting JakesHomeWorkouts.com. Here you will find many workouts in the following categories:

Time Under Tension Beginner Workout

Time under tension is a principle of weight training that has to do with the speed at which we lift and lower the weight. This also involves whether or not we pause at anytime throughout the movement. Weight lifting speed is also referred to as tempo, and varying the tempo can change the type of results that we get from our workouts. A good way to focus on primarily building muscle is to increase your time under tension.

5 Minute Workout

This 5 minute workout is not intended to be a long term workout plan but actually a starting point for those who are struggling to establish a regular workout habit. It also serves as a great back up workout for those who are pressed for time on certain days. Getting 2 or 3 full workouts plus one or two 5 minute workouts can yield great results, and even four to six 5 minute workouts are more beneficial than zero workouts.

Fast and Furious Workout

The Fast and Furious movies are just plain fun. And at a time where we are overrun with sequels and remakes, I really look forward to each installment of this series. I also like the new characters/actors that they bring in like Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham. The fight in Fast Five between Diesel and Johnson was like a kid's dream come true. It's one of those scenarios that you come up with your friends but never really think that you'll see it on the big screen.
